MEET DR. PRIYA

Jambo and karibu…(hello and welcome in Swahili). Imagine growing up a stone’s throw away from a game reserve. Imagine the thrill of seeing the vast Kenyan plains dotted with lions, elephants and cheetahs. Those are some of the fond memories of growing up in Nairobi, Kenya. As the daughter of a physician, I quickly took to my father’s infectious passion for medicine and community service. I found my true calling for dentistry during one of our medical missions in rural Kenya. I attended Boston University where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biology and Economics. I furthered my education at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Working with children kept me young. It was challenging, yet exciting and refreshing at the same time. I decided to pursue advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University. I am board certified and have earned the designation of Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

After practicing in New York City and Connecticut, my husband and I moved to Georgia to settle down and raise a family. I currently live in East Cobb with my husband and daughter.

With my family’s support, I established Children’s Dental Village. Our motto is that it truly does take a village. As such, our aim is to not only be your child’s pediatric dentist, but also a trusted partner in their dental health journey, from their first visit through their adolescent years. I would love to introduce myself in person and welcome you to my Roswell office!
